Being a grown-up is hard, hard work, but there are always a few obvious things to avoid, as well as a few things to embrace, when you're on the path to adulthood. Here, a few of the more essential dos and don'ts.

DO cut down on the amount of furniture you have that turns into other furniture. If your couch serves as a bed, your desk serves as a cutting board, and your chair serves as a storage unit, you should probably consider investing in a trip to IKEA.

Movember Final

It’s hard to believe that Movember is in its last day! The last 30 days have flown by (although there seems to be a few men who are more than ready to shave off their epic staches).

The Industry Mo’s have raised $340 for prostate cancer and men’s mental health initiatives, and we are incredibly honoured and thankful to the generous friends, family and colleagues who have donated to the cause!

Movember Canada has raised over $32,873,302, an impressive number that stands above the rest. Our great country rose to the top in support of an amazing and heartwarming campaign! Globally we’ve raised $103,426,451 with 1,120,583 registrants.

So give yourself a round of applause for completing the MOST SUCCESSFUL 30 days of Movember to date. We’ve all dedicated ourselves to fundraising in support of men’s health programs run by Prostate Cancer Canada and The Movember Foundation.

CONGRATULATIONS!

And it’s not too late, you can still donate. We appreciate anything you can give! Thank you!

Movember Signature

#IND3 | Movember 8, 2012

In only 13 days some of the best in the Canadian music industry will come together for one EPIC night of sounds to please your eardrums. AND because we’re HUGE fans of Movember we want to CELEBRATE THE WEEK OLD ‘STACHE and offer our fellow MoBro’s helpful tips and tricks to keep growing!

We have three artists performing at Starlight Social Club in Waterloo, ON on Movember 8, and we want to give you a chance to get to know them a little better, so stayed tuned to get up close and personal with The Cobrahawks and Gee Wunder.

Headlining the show are Perfeck Strangers, a hip hop duo from Toronto, ON. Veteran emcees Dan-e-o and Promise are a force to be reckoned with.

Their first single Work To Do was leaked to YouTube and garnered thousands of views in the first few days. The song features rap heavyweight Drake and the lyrics call out to the struggles investing in your destiny create. Their lyrics are powerful and substance heavy; they’re passion filled and use the power of positive messaging to steer away from the stereotypes.

Their debut album Series Premiere is available from URBNET Records for FREE. The 12 track album is a MUST HAVE. They seek to inspire and uplift and leave the haters behind as they rise to the top without ever forgetting who they are and where they came from.

Check out Stay Me feat. Zeyon and True To You feat. Naya Marie the latest singles off Series Premiere as they define the lyrical genius that is Perfeck Strangers.

Don’t miss your chance to see Perfeck Strangers on Movember 8 at Starlight Social Club in Waterloo, ON with Gee Wunder and The Cobrahawks! Tickets are available online at ticketweb.ca for ONLY $10 (or Orange Monkey Records in Uptown Waterloo).

If you could bottle the essential startup advice of some of the best founders and VCs in the world, what would it look like?

Probably something like the video that Debbie Landa just produced. She's the founder of GROWlab accelerator and GROW conference, and Landa asked the speakers from the recent GROW Vancouver event to contribute their nuggets of startup wisdom.
